What makes the Deluxe different?
Maywa Denki designed the Otamatone Deluxe as the "bigger, louder and better" version. At approximately 44 cm, it is one and a half times the length of the standard model. That extra neck length is the key feature for playability: the spacing between notes is wider, so hitting the right pitch requires far less precision and muscle memory.
Beyond size, the Deluxe adds:
- 3.5 mm headphone / line-out jack — plug in to speakers, amplifiers or your DAW.
- Volume knob — the standard model has no volume control.
- Carry strap — useful for performance and safe transport.
